#comrade Fredy K Thazhath, Central Executive Committee member of the Marxist Leninist Party of India (Red Flag) and National President of the Trade Union Centre of India (TUCI), inaugurated a mass dharna at the State Secretariat and Chief Minister’s Office in Patna, demanding fulfilment of the government’s promise to provide three cents of homestead land.
Poor peasants, agricultural workers, and rural scheme and municipal workers from various districts of Bihar, including East and West Champaran, participated in the protest. The dharna was organised under the leadership of the Bihar state units of MLPI (Red Flag) and #tuci. See less
